Is Ubud Bike Tour Safe for Children?
One of the first questions parents ask before booking is, “Is an Ubud bike tour safe for children?“ The answer is yes—when the tour is designed specifically for families. Safety isn’t just about wearing a helmet; it’s about choosing the right route, riding with experienced local guides, and giving children the freedom to enjoy the journey at their own pace. Here’s why so many families feel confident joining our Ubud bike tour with kids.
Safe Because Every Tour Is Private
One of the biggest advantages of our Ubud bike tour with kids is that every tour is completely private. Your family won’t be combined with other guests, so there’s no pressure to keep up with a large group or follow someone else’s pace.
This gives children the freedom to stop for photos, take a short break, or simply enjoy the beautiful countryside whenever they need to. A private tour creates a more relaxed, comfortable, and safer experience for the whole family.

Safe Because the Route Is Designed for Families
Our route follows quiet village roads surrounded by rice fields, making it much safer than cycling on busy main roads.
Because Ubud is located in the mountains, there are a few short uphill sections. However, they are gentle and only make up a small part of the route. If your child—or even you—doesn’t feel comfortable riding uphill, there’s absolutely no problem. You can simply get off the bike, walk for a minute or two, and continue riding when you’re ready.
Your guide will always be there to help and encourage you, making sure everyone enjoys the ride comfortably and safely.
